Stubbs Farm Adventure Combo

Stubbs Farm Combo for Primary Classes

(Y4 and Up) $51  for all three activities.

  • Wild Caving through Mangapohue Cave: Guides, helmets and lights provided. Students will get wet and muddy as this cave has water that can reach up to their waist.
  • Abseiling: practise on a gentle grassy slope then abseil down a limestone rock face. All equipment provided.
  • The Covenant: a team-building problem-solving game where students work together to surmount a number of physical obstacles. Click here for Covenant RAMS

Stubbs Farm

 

There is a maximum of 48 active participants per day on Stubbs Farm. Guides take a maximum of 12 students for each activity.

Minimum numbers of 24.

Parents may come along as observers but are asked NOT to actively participate as:

  • The guides need to focus on the students.
  • Parents often help the students too much, destroying the team building dynamics.

Location: 15 minutes drive from the Waitomo Caves Village towards the Marokopa Coast. Click here for a Stubbs-map

Facilities: A small shelter and a long-drop toilet is available on-site. Bring enough food, water and clothing for a day out in the elements.

Time: Allow 20 minutes to walk to and from the activity sites on the farm and roughly an hour and a half per activity.

 (Y3 – Y5 students)  For all three activities. Or we can modify for younger students. (Y1& 2)
