Adventure Caving

New Zealand’s caves are often wet, muddy and only 12˚ Celsius all year round. We recommend wearing polypro, polar-fleece or wool to avoid getting too cold when adventure caving underground. We also wear overalls over our thermal underwear to protect them from the mud and stop our pants being pulled off when we go through really tight “squeezes”!
