Spellbound Limited  

Visit Two fascinating caves on a Spellbound Tour 

Allow 3.5 hours

Both caves are located beneath beautiful green countryside featuring farmland, native trees and wildlife, studded with limestone outcrops, cliffs and gorges and dissected by the beautiful clear Mangawhitikau Stream.

Spellbound Glowworm Cave - Be prepared for a glowing sensation, before boarding our inflatable, you will see all the life cycle stages of NZ glowworms, watche them move see their eggs, and get a close up photograph.

Te Ana o te Atua (The Cave of the Spirit) - A scenic gorge walk brings you to the impressive natural entrance of Te Ana o te Atua, soft lighting and gently sweeping paths lead you into the cave for rare views of the region's ancient and more recent past.

  • At least 30 minutes under glowworm lights!

  • Maximum of twelve people per group.

  • Some photography is possible by visitors.
