As we prepare to celebrate 125 years of tours through the Waitomo Caves it is natural to dwell on the past. But, “today is tomorrow’s yesterday”, therefore we are also celebrating the important role of the very many people, especially the guides, who work in the Waitomo tourism industry today.
The Waitomo Caves Museum is compiling a commemorative album to record the people who work within tourism in Waitomo in this special year. We would like to print two copies of the album; one to go out on public display in the museum as part of the September 2014 celebrations and the other will be archived.
We are hoping to gather some basic information about each person (guides, reception, back of house, management, and operational staff), together with a (flattering) current photo and a brief personal comment about Waitomo if they wish.
We would be grateful for your help and participation to successfully complete this project. Please complete the form below. High resolution photos can be emailed to Lindsay at .
There is a tight deadline so please aim to complete and submit your photo by Wednesday 20th August 2014.
We thank you in advance for your help.
